Immerse yourself in our collection: Arthshila Santiniketan houses a curated collection of books, periodicals, digital resources and films on Fine Art, Art History, Children’s books on Art, and on Audio-visual culture. The collection is available for public access from the space.
The collection includes books on Art and Artists that might not be easily accessible to students and interested readers. The collection also hosts a section on books on Art for children. Parallelly, the collection serves as an archive for researchers. As an effort to engage with our collection, a book discussion is held on Wednesday evenings. The sessions are curated and coordinated by University students.
The collection of films is eclectic, ranging from folk art to Indian Classical music. The diverse range of films, with open access to visitors at the site offers the viewer to follow different trajectories of the film medium. There is a weekly screening of films held every Friday at the Hall.
Periodicals and journals: An expansive list of periodicals and journals are available for access to the visitors.
