Masterclass: Documenting Environmental and Cultural Shifts in the Himalayas

Through his work, Stanzin Dorjai Gya has sought to capture the profound environmental and cultural transformations taking place in the Himalayan region, particularly in Ladakh. This session will provide an in-depth look at his creative process, the challenges of documentary filmmaking in extreme conditions, and the techniques he has developed to tell compelling, impactful stories. As part of this Masterclass, he will also be screening his acclaimed documentary, JUNGWA: The Broken Balance.
