The Exhibition will formally open with an Inaugural Talk by Deshna Mehta followed by Exhibition Walkthrough.

The exhibition focuses on the practice and process of book design of 6 self-published books by individual patrons (authors) who commissioned the studio to design them. Alongside these, an 8 volume compendium on the Kumbh Mela published by the studio will be exhibited giving a glimpse into the process of its making. Each of the books highlight a specific component and approach to book design emergent from and responsive to the context and content within the respective books. The telling is through sequential narratives in the form of looped slides and the physical books which we invite our audiences to engage with.

Studio Anugraha is a communication design practice co-founded in 2012 by Deshna Mehta, Deven Shah and Leena Mehta. It encourages collaborative practices deriving from and contributing to elusive aspects of cultures, philosophies and ideas in general. By experimenting with and incorporating patterns and paradigms to express the intangible, it aims to weave a dynamic fabric of awareness leaving insiders and onlookers with a sense of connect.
