This exhibition focuses on the twin fundamentals of furniture: materials and process. At a time when the demand for furniture is increasing exponentially, the exhibition uses these terms as a way of understanding the first principles of furniture making. The word ‘AMOLAKH’ defines something as precious and unique. Amolakh is a small company established in Ahmedabad in the memory of Amolakh, the great grandfather of the founder, Maneesh Kumar.
๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฒ๐๐ต ๐๐๐บ๐ฎ๐ฟ has been trained as a craftsman from a young age. His formal studies took him to the Rizvi College of Architecture in Mumbai, where he sought inspiration from the raw forms of materials as a source of aesthetic.
๐๐ฟ๐๐ต๐๐ฟ ๐๐๐ณ๐ณ has over 35 years of experience in the practice of architecture, interior design, and design & manufacturing of furniture. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Architecture, CEPT University.
