Responding to their own truths, lived experiences, and observations, the artists render these responses in the form of diverse mediums and an array of perspectives, creating works that provoke, question, and stimulate conversations and introspection. Experience the themes of coral reefs, fluidity, coal mining, society, politics and more through ‘Tangible Truths *’ – a Fine Arts Exhibition of five recipients of the Takshila Fine Arts Scholarship 2022.

The second edition of the Takshila Fine Arts Scholarship endowed in 2022 is a reflection of Takshila’s commitment to shared ecologies and materials. Our artists span a diversity of geographies, languages and forms; they stand united in their compassion for the fields of engagement and deep-rooted inquiries of their subjects. It is an honour for us to have been a part of their journeys and we look forward to many future collaborations with them.
