About the film:
The film ‘Quarter Number 4/11’ narrates the injustice that is built into the fabric of the ‘successful’ city, which exhibits only one aspect of a world far more complex than anything that appears in its exotic imagery. The city is undermined by the pain, exploitation and loss which are built into its fabric, and which remain a constant threat even to its most soaring structures and glittering monuments of modernity. The film ‘Quarter Number 4/11’ had a World Premiere at Busan International Film Festival and many other places with almost 400 screenings being organized across India.

About the director:
Ranu Ghosh is an independent Filmmaker and director-producer-cinematographer who has experience in both celluloid and video format in the Documentary and Feature film Industry. Over a period of 10 years, she has directed and produced documentaries on environmental issues in Calcutta like Saga in Parallel, Other Wealth & Kolkata Vhalo Thaka and many more.
