In this deeply moving performance, Rajyashri Goody weaves together experiences of hunger, shame, begging, and eating leftovers with moments of feasting, joy, and culinary delight. Drawing from Dalit memory texts, she transforms recipes into booklets — making visible the everyday realities of caste violence while honoring acts of resilience and quiet defiance around the shared experience of food.

Rajyashri Goody is a visual artist and anthropologist whose work examines food and water politics, caste-based violence, and Dalit resistance in India. Her practice spans paper pulp, clay, text, photography, and printmaking. She has presented her work at Sharjah Biennial, Busan Biennale, National Museum for Women in the Arts (Washington DC), and Asia Now (Paris), among others.
