The workshop centers on the concept of Psychogeography. Psychogeography investigates how our emotional and behavioural responses are shaped by our geographical surroundings. This workshop invites participants to explore the intricate narratives embedded within the memories, identities, imaginations, experiences, observations, personal archives and histories that shape our perception of locations and places. By examining the interplay between psychology and geography, attendees will create diverse artistic outputs such as drawings, collages, text-based works, mind maps, and paintings. The collaborative dialogue will provide a platform for participants to present and critique their creations, fostering a deeper understanding of the concepts discussed. This reflective exchange aims to distill key insights and learnings, enriching our collective knowledge and paving the way for further exploration in the field of psychogeography.

𝗥𝗼𝗵𝗶𝘁 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗲, a contemporary artist, pursued a Master of Fine Arts at Nottingham Trent University, UK. During his studies, he made substantial advancements in his artistic practices. This period was instrumental in refining his art practices and methodologies. In his second year, Rohit was selected for the Erasmus Study Programme at Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künst (ABK), Stuttgart, Germany. His approach to art became increasingly research-based, a hallmark of his professional identity today. Presently, Rohit is the resident artist at the Monsoon Space Studio Residency in Baroda.
