About:
The Amche Mollem Citizen’s Campaign continues its commitment to protecting Goa’s forests through public engagement, storytelling, dialogue, and collective action. This interactive event centers around a Zine Library & Community Table, inviting participants to immerse themselves in the stories of the forest — reading, reflecting, and contributing to a growing archive of resistance, resilience, and ecological wisdom.
The campaign emerged in response to three destructive infrastructure projects threatening Goa’s largest protected area. By merging art, science, and legal strategies, Amche Mollem has empowered citizens to challenge environmental degradation, leading to significant legal and legislative outcomes. Since its inception in 2020, the campaign has embodied the power of democratic, citizen-led action, fostering an enduring culture of environmental stewardship and activism.
This event invites you to engage with these ongoing narratives, contributing your voice to this living archive of community resilience.
