Arthshila Ahmedabad is pleased to host ‘Traveling Film Southasia’ in collaboration with Film Southasia. Join us for a special two-day screening of 19 films exploring diverse narratives, compelling storytelling, engaging discussions, and online Q&A sessions with filmmakers.

Film South Asia was founded in 1997, It is a biennial documentary festival that aims to popularize documentaries as a medium that entertains, informs, and sparks change. After each main festival in Kathmandu, a curated selection of films tours globally, bringing South Asian narratives to a wider audience.

The screenings will begin with Mitu Varma (Director, FSA) introducing Film Southasia and the current traveling package. She will also discuss the theme of the current edition, ‘Documentary in the Anthropocene,’ and its relevance across the region.
