Dharavi Dreams is a 75-minute musical performed by kids themselves, portraying the stark realities of their lives, highlighting their resilience and the pivotal role of hip-hop in their transformation. The play follows the lives of thirteen children, taking us on a journey with their individual dreams and challenges and their collective story of how hip-hop, music, and dance transformed their lives. Now, they are ready to chase new dreams, with the world being their oyster. The production features their mastery of various art forms, including rap, hip-hop, beatboxing, graffiti art, aerial work, skateboarding, and more.

Neha Singh is a Mumbai-based theatre producer, director, playwright and actor. She is also a children’s author with 19 published books. She is a women’s rights campaigner who runs the campaign “Why Loiter?” Neha has acted in several plays in Mumbai and started her own theatre company called Rahi Theatre in 2016. Under this banner she has produced and directed acclaimed plays like Dohri Zindagi, Jhalkari, Walk like a woman, Kesarbai, Tigerskin Rug, Watermelon God and Amcho Vaddo Pisso.
