Echoes aspires to nurture new approaches to pedagogies, sustainable practices, and building resilience through art and community engagement. The session delves into the challenges of working with communities, youth, natural resources, and non-human species while addressing pressing environmental issues and fostering meaningful behavioral changes. This dialogue aims to shift perceptions regarding the future of youth and rethink structures in the context of Santiniketan—an area originally intended to offer an alternative educational space in connection with nature. Though an ideal ecosystem for learning, Santiniketan acknowledges the socio-spatial transformations over time, both within Santiniketan, Kolkata, and beyond, which have altered the ethos and essence of spaces.
