About the book: Totto-chan, the Little Girl at the Window is an autobiographical memoir written by Japanese television personality and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Tetsuko Kuroyanagi. The book was published originally in 1981, and became an “instant bestseller” in Japan.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗔𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗵 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘆 heads the communication design department at Anant National University. Alumnus of the NID, Ahmedabad, he has also been a faculty from 1999-2001 there. He practices participatory approaches in communication for social and behaviour change.

Before joining Anant, he was associated with UNICEF Bihar as a Senior State Consultant for behaviour change communication. He’s been visiting faculty at prestigious design schools such as NID, NIFT, MICA etc. Prof. Pandey is an avid storyteller and reader. He has been invited to many Book Fair and literature festivals for story reading sessions.

With an experience of 6 amazing years with Radio Mirchi, 𝗔𝗽𝗼𝗼𝗿𝘄 has often been recognized as ‘the musical soul of Patna’. He has promoted many social causes through his efforts. In association with UNICEF, Apoorw hosted and catered to ‘Mirchi Care’- a radio special, that revolved around the mental health awareness and child psychology during the pandemic. He has run several social campaigns and has interacted and documented series with the artists from Bihar.

For the last six months he was in Varanasi doing the morning show with Mirchi. Through his efforts, voice and art, Apoorw lives and breathes the city. His radio specials focus on life, love and locality that listeners connect very well.
