The show experiments with “Performative reading” to present non-fictional accounts of the Mahatma by some eminent women of the last century, such as Sarojini Naidu, Mahadevi Verma, Taj Sahiba Lahori, Anne Marie Petersen, Emma Tarlo, Ellen Horup, and Ismat Chugtai. ‘Har Qatara Toofan’ is a collection of writings by women, who view Gandhi from different perspectives. It is Scripted by Purwa Bharadwaj and directed by Shri Vinod Kumar. Collection of writings consist of Mahadevi Verma’s ‘Punya Sansmaran’, Emma Tarlo’s ‘Gandhi ki Vastrayatra’, Sarojini Naidu’s ‘Peaches of Cape Town’ and Shok-Sandesh, Annie Marie Petersen’s ‘Os Se Bheenga Binoula’, Ellen Horup’s ‘Verde’, Taj Sahiba Lahori’s ‘Charkha’ and ‘Kachche Dhaage’ of Ismat Chugtai.
