A short version of Alpavirama- Asian Short and Documentary Film Festival was held from 15th to 16th December, 2018 in the auditorium of Bihar Museum, Bailey Road Patna. The festival celebrated short filmmaking through the screening of seven Fiction films, ten Documentary films from different countries and in different languages like Hindi, Haryanvi, Gujarati, English, Turkish, Vietnamese, Chinese, Malayalam, Persian and Burmese and a Music Video named Mughlai wrap. The first day started with screening of ‘The Midwife and continued with Maple at Night, Do Ghante Ki Baat, Dreams on Wheels, Jamani Baju, As I lay Dying, After Word and Eye Test. The second day started with a Master Class on Film Appreciation with students of Mass Communication by an expert Shri Hitesh Chaurasia from National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. Film festival was concluded with screening of nine films ‘Bismaar Ghar, The Bridge Between Us,, Set in Stone, The Tales of our Family, Nanami, Gray Umbrella, The Return, The Gentle Sadness of Things, Mother of Arms, Musical Mughlai Wrap. This was followed by an interactive question and answer session.
